Wi-Fi connection on her DS , so the guide might not be
completed*
There are many ways to
get Wi-Fi on your DS , using the "Search for an Access Point" , "AOSS"
, "Manual Setup" , and "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector" options.
Search for
an Access Point
First get a game that is
Wi-Fi compatible ,
like Pokemon Pearl , click on Wi-Fi Settings , then you will be on the
Wi-Fi Menu. Second , Click on "Nintendo the Wi-Fi Settings" ,
click one of the connection slots and click on "Search for an
Access Point". And you'll see your connection!
Access Point lock colors:
Blue
, unlocked: You can click on it , and play on Wi-Fi!
Red,
locked: You need the WEP key to play on Wi-Fi..
Gray ,
locked: Your router is not compatible to the DS' Wi-Fi.
AOSS
Same as the
first option but click on
the AOSS button , and hold and press the AOSS button on your router
while you're on the AOSS screen.
Manual
Setup
Same as
others but click on "Manual
Setup" , and you have to type alll the details , like your IP , to get
the connection,
Nintendo
Wi-Fi USB Connector
Sorry, but Nintendo
doesn't support this
device anymore , but you can buy it online from other stores , not
local stores , stores like Ebay or Amazon.com (Amazon is
better).
The USB is the easiest way to get Wi-Fi ,if you don't have a
router. First , put the USb in a free USB port in your computer , then
run the setup on your computer. Once the setup is done , click on
"Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector" in the Wi-Fi Menu on the DS. Then , your
DS will show on the screen of your computer , then right-click it and
press "Alow to connect " , and you have Wi-Fi!
